The party had come and passed.. can’t believe my baby girl is now 3.. how time flies. It was a small do, just our direct families and some very close friends.. Emilie really enjoyed herself.. got her first bicycle, had a nice princess birthday “cake” (it’s actually made of part Barbie doll, and part Jelly – see pics) but most importantly, had her cousins Maya and Leia as well as little Gavin over to celebrate and play with her. It’s probably something she doesn’t yet realize, but I had noticed that it isn’t always about the numbers when it comes to a party or gathering, it’s who’s there.. for Emilie, it was the 3 other children who at this point in time are probably the closest to her.. and for us, it was the group of friends and family that always makes our gatherings enjoyable and memorable..

My daughter, Emilie, turns 3 today.. she’s been talking about it all week as we prepared for it.. while we were ordering her cake, when we went shopping for the kiddie bags, etc. And finally, the day is here. She woke up with a smile, and immediately asked for her “princess” cake.. of course I promptly told her, “not yet.. wait till the party”.. The sheer joy wifey and me feels when we see her expressions towards this special day and all that it brings is just priceless and mere words can't describe.. so, here’s a couple of shots of the preparations and Emile’s keeping her kiddie bag close.. and of course, more pics to follow after the party..

Here's a couple that i worked with just this past weekend.. 2 wonderful people.
